My name is Louisa Demmitt. I am a Maryland native, currently living in Colorado. A few years ago I was on a trajectory, with a plan, and ever since it all changed, I’ve been working to reassess and rethink and forge a new way forward. Like so many of us, I have no real idea what I’m doing, but I’m trying to figure it out.
I like to hike, bike, CrossFit, and run (if there’s a beer at the end). I like to travel and take spontaneous adventures and sing super loudly, preferably with a lot of gesticulation. I drink too much coffee and read too many books and am an immense fan of British procedurals. I have a dog who’s pretty cool, as well as a community of friends who’ve become family in this western state.
This blog is a challenge I set for myself after a person I greatly admire pointed out that “nothing changes if nothing changes.” So I’m trying to be more honest, work harder, and be bolder. I’m hoping that in putting myself more into the world, and interacting with it in different ways, the way through the mess will be a heck of a good time.
